MS Outlook - Sent Folder Not Available (IMAP)
The Sent Items Folder Is Unavailable
Do you receive an error message every time you send an email, saying: "the sent items folder is unavailable", though the message finally leaves the Outbox and is delivered?
This issue may occur if you use an IMAP account in MS Outlook.
To resolve this issue, in MS Outlook, try this process:
- Click on: File > Info > Account Settings > Account settings.
- Locate the account and click Change, then More Settings.
- Associate the Delete Items (Move deleted items to the following folder on the server) to the relevant folder for the IMAP account.
- Associate the Sent Items (Save sent items to the following folder on the server) to the relevant folder for the IMAP account.
That should be it... Done!
